The standing review

Editorial policy

How this desk works

RevoluTimes writes about people and companies who dispute what is written about them, and this policy sets out its method.

Naming a person or a company

An allegation is attributed to the document or the party making it, never presented as a finding of this publication.

Anyone named in a critical context is offered the chance to reply before publication.

Documents before narrative

Court records, corporate filings and regulator decisions are cited with their reference and their date.

A leaked document is described for what it is, including what could not be verified about it.

News, analysis and opinion: RevoluTimes

Each piece states which of the three it is, and an analysis does not borrow the tone of a report.

A forecast is attributed to whoever makes it, together with the assumptions it depends on.

Corrections and the right of reply

A correction is made in the article itself and carries the date on which it was amended.

A reply or a rectification can be requested through the contact form, including by a party named in a file.

Who signs a file

Author pages state the subjects a contributor follows, without claiming a posting, a bureau or an accreditation.

What this publication is not: RevoluTimes

RevoluTimes runs no wire service, keeps no correspondent abroad and offers no reputation management.
